Family Values Tour
The band Korn has a family values tour. On it will be Korn, Ramms+ein, Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube, and of course...Orgy! Orgy had this to say about being the first band in the line-up. JAY: It was like, they knew it was kind of a scary spot for us to be in because we've never played one gig, you know? Like last night was our first official tour gig. So tonight will be number two, so you'll get to see some of that. It was just kind of like, well, can they do it? You know? And I don't know, we pulled it off. We pulled the wool over everybody's eyes -- manipulating visually what we can do. Orgy was the very first band to be signed on Korn's record label. Their dabut album is titled Candyass.

Orgy, Love and Rockets, New Music Video
Just last weekend, Orgy preformed at Fasionably Loud Miami on MTV. If you saw them on both family values and fasionably loud...you're gonna see much much more. Orgy is talking to Love and Rockets about a tour. It is very likely that Love and Rockes will be on Orgy's second tour. Also the cover song "Blue Monday" will be on MTV very soon as Orgy's first video and single. It was shot in an abandoned building where some episodes of the X-files were shot. The video even looks like something in the X-files with it's sci-fi taste. The video was directed by Gregory Dark who also has directed clips for Sublime, fellow family values band Ice Cube, and The Cherry Poppin' Daddies.

Orgy a Buzz Clip
I was watching MTV the other day...and I noticed Orgy being a Buzz clip. This week Eminem, Limp Bizcit, and Stardust all fell in the buzz bin with Orgy. "Not the slightest inkling what any of it is about," Orgy frontman Jay Gordon told MTV News on Tuesday of his knowledge of the clip. "I know there's a little kid that does this little, morphs into me situation. He's supposed to be me I guess as a young'n." "He's much better behaved though," guitarist Ryan Shuck noted."He is. He's much better behaved," Gordon agreed. "There's that, and then the parents are kind of strange, hiding something from the kid kind of a thing. And there's the silver girls that we kind of created. We had a whole different plan, and the director had a whole different plan, but it all fused together nicely, at least frame by frame. Whether it makes sense or not, you know, I don't know. It just worked out."

Amir in studio with Korn? No big deal?
Did Amir Derakh go into the studio to work on a solo album for Jonathan Davis? Nope..not according to Mr. Derakh. Though he did admit to going into the studio. "We just did some playing around," Derakh explained. "It got out, and people made some way big..." "Everybody's making like a big,like, Whoah!" Jay Gordon finished. "They, they, kinda jammed at the studio. You know, kinda messed around with ideas and stuff, I think" "It was all over the Internet and, you know, we're just screwing around." finished Derakh.

Love and Rockets tour with Orgy
Now it's official. Orgy will be touring with Love and Rockets. They've traded family values for just one other band. Maybe they needed a break from KoRn fans. Tour dates are yet to be set.

A flury of famous people
It was an all-star summit of new wave metal and vintage alternative rock this weekend, as Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst and Orgy guitarist Ryan Shuck hooked up in a Los Angeles studio with Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland and ex-Cult vocalist Ian Astbury to record a new version of the 1985 Sly Fox pacifist rave, "Let's Go All the Way."Rounding out the line-up was former Porno for Pyros bassist Martyn LeNoble, who played on Weiland's "12 Bar Blues" album, and F.I.N.E. singer Ashley Hamilton, the man responsible for putting the session together. For the song, which Hamilton says was recorded for an undetermined film soundtrack, Weiland shared vocal duties with Hamilton and Astbury, LeNoble and Shuck handles their familiar instruments, while Durst sat in the production chair. The recent flurry of studio activity for Weiland, who is also set to appear on the next Limp Bizkit record , may be hopeful sign that the singer is ready to return to the studio with his STP bandmates. Prior to his drug bust in New York City last June, Weiland predicted that Stone Temple Pilot would reform in early '99 to record a new album for release by the end of the year.Two weeks ago, the STP singer spent a few days in an L.A. jail when authorities claimed he had violated terms of his probation agreement stemming from a different, drug-related charge. Weiland was eventually released back to a local halfway house and faces a March 26 hearing for a progress report on his treatment.

Tour dates!!!!
Okay! Finally tour dates for the Orgy/Love and Rockets tour were announced today! Love and Rockets is usinf the tour as a promo for their new album...so id Orgy. Orgy will be the opening act, as it was for family values. "God, that's like a band that we all grew up with, you know, and is responsible for a lot of the way we think and view music so it's going to be an honor and a pleasure,"Orgy guitarist Ryan Shuck gushed to MTV News recently in anticipation of the tour. Family Values album!
Did you miss out on the family values tour last year? awwwww poor baby. But here's something that may cheer you up. There will be an album out on March 30 for those that want to relive the tour. There will also be a video to go with it. It will feature all the acts on family values including Incubus who stepped in for Ice Cube when he had to leave.Track-wise the biggest winner of the "Family Values" album would be t Orgy, who are represented by a trio of cuts -- including its popular cover of New Order's "Blue Monday." Not faring quite as well is Rammstein, who only managed to land a single tune, "Du Hast," onto the "tour souvenir" record. A brefore unrealised track from Limp Bizcit will be slapped on the album but nobody's quite sure if the song will be on L. B.'s new album. Here's the track listing for the album.

Orgy to be on Rock N' Jock Bowling!
Orgy will be on MTV's Rock N' Jock bowling this weekend, they will be on the smokin' joe's team. It will air Saturday at 2:00 EST. Check mtv.com for repeats. Watch it and root for the team!!!

Amir, baby where are you?
I just finished watching Rock N' Jock Bowling on mtv. It was funny, Orgy won the first round. Ryan was bowling the last bowl of the round. He let go of the ball...then Jay Gordon, Fred Durst...and some guy from Korn came up from behind and rolled their balls and knocked down the rest of the pins. That was funny! But when they got to come back for the third round...THEY LOST!!!! Through the whole thing I kept wondering where Amir Derakh was. He wasn't even metioned. Everybody in the band was there but him...there was Bobby...Paige...Ryan...and Jay. No Amir! Where the heck is he! I hope I'll find an answer to that question soon...

Orgy to be on TRL
This Wednesday, Orgy will be on MTV's Total Request Live at 3:00 EST ((hopefully they'll re-run it at 9:00 pm cause I'll still be at school...damn school board!)) Hopefully, the WHOLE band will show up. If Amir doesn't show up for this one SOMETHING'S gotta be up. I'm STILL wondering where he was when the REST of that band was on Rock N' Jock Bowling!!!! That boy better show up!!! Or I swear I'll scream!!!!

Campus Invasion Dates!!
Okay...Orgy will be teaming up with Sugar Ray for MTV's Campus Invaion tour. Apparently, both bands knew each other from previous meetings so it will be just like old times according to Orgy band members. The tour will start on April second and go through to May! The dates are as followed...

New Video World Premered!
Today, I was taking a nice shower when my best friend called...I guess it's true that good news comes from a good shower...because she told me that today...Orgy's new video "Stitches" will World Premire on TRL...right now they're still at number 9 on the countdown...I'm still wet! Okay! They just showed the video! Totally awesome! Amir and Ryan called Carson Daly before the video was shown and said the following...
I totally love the video...theband looks so different in that music video...Bobby's hair looks shorter...Jay's hairdoesn't look so spiked up...Amir looks like he stuck his finger in a electric socket...and Ryan and Paige look pretty much the same. I hope everyone votes for it!!!

Happy B-Day/ Father's Day, Amir!
Today is not only Father's Day, but Amir's Birthday!!! Wow, I wonder is his son gives him both a father's day and a birthday present????Okay...we all know what I must do know right??? *duh* Sing him a little song!!! *singing to the tune of the Sailor Moon theme song* Looking hot by moonlight, really cute by daylight...never running from a show or gig he is the one named Amir Derakh! I think I may start writing one for Bobby's b-day even though it's not for another few months cause I don't wanna be caught off guard like this and have to make one up so terrible...*lol*
